What a powerful story of deliverance. You see, everyone has a story. Yours may not be the same as anyone else, however, you have a story.

Today, are you looking for something (like Christina Baker) to help you deal with the challenges and trials in your life? Maybe you are seeking answers to questions such as "is there a God", "how do I overcome the hurt and pain in my life", or "this addiction", etc. Maybe you are struggling with physical pain, or a family situation. Whatever it may be, God wants you to trust Him to rewrite your story of life change and breakthrough.

If you are reading this and are not sure of your eternal salvation/destiny, we want you to experience the free gift that God offers each and every one of us through Jesus Christ.

We are one day closer to the point where our lives will no longer exist in this life as we know it. The bible says that it is appointed once for man to die and stand before God on a day known as "The Judgment". When that day comes where will you stand?

The Bible makes it clear that in order to inherit eternal life, a person must believe in their heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He died for their sins and if they ask Jesus to forgive them of their sins, they will be saved and have a home in Heaven.

John 3:3 – “Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

1 Peter 1:23 – “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the Word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.”

1 Peter 3:18 – “For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God.”

It is not God’s will or desire for anyone to go to hell. Paul said, God “desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth” (1 Timothy 2:4). Peter said, the Lord is “not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9).

Jesus wants to come into your life as Lord and Savior. Jesus said, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me” (Revelation 3:20).

If you stood before God and He asked, ‘Why should I allow you into my heaven?’ what would you say?” Would you say:

  • "I've been a good person"

  • "I've never cheated, or hurt anyone"

  • "I've been honest in all my dealings"

  • "I've given to charities and helped the homeless out"

Al those are good and even part of being a follower of Christ, However can you recall a moment in your life where you said something like, "Jesus I am a sinner, forgive me of my sins and come into my heart and life, I want you to be the center of my life and serve you".

Becoming a Christian, a follower of Jesus Christ, knowing you have an eternal home in Heaven is achieved by simply asking, saying something like the words you just read above.

Read the following scriptures and you will understand the biblical plan for becoming a Christian, a follower of Christ.

Romans 3:23 – “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

Romans 6:23 – “The wages of sin is death.”  but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Jesus paid the penalty for our sins when He died on the cross. He went to the cross, experienced death and separation from God in our place.

We are not only going to die physically, but we will all stand before God on the day of judgment to give an account of our sin. Sin has wages and they must be paid for. The wages (penalty) of sin is death.

This is not only dying physically but spiritually, being separated from God throughout all eternity and ultimately being banished to eternal damnation in hell (2 Thessalonians 1:8-9; Matthew 25:41). God has made provision for us so we won’t have to face this penalty, but the choice is ours.

Eternal life is a free gift. We don’t have to pay the penalty for our sins ourself. He did it for us. This free gift comes only through Jesus and His finished work for us on the cross (John 14:6 and Acts 4:12).

Romans 10:9-10 – “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

Romans 10:13 – “Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Would you like to receive Christ before you go any further? It is so simple, just consider the words again....."Jesus I am a sinner, forgive me of my sins and come into my heart and life right now, I want you to be the center of my life and serve you. Thank you for saving me. In your name I pray, Aman".

If you prayed that prayer and meant it, you are now part of the family of God.  So, what next? Click, or tap here to visit our NextStep page. You can also click here if you need a bible, or other resource information to help you in your journey as a new believer and follower of Jesus Christ.
